A Celebration of Community, Culture, and Togetherness BrisKA successfully conducted its Family Funday on 9 August 2025, bringing together families from all walks of life for a day filled with joy, unity, and celebration. This annual summer event continues to reflect BrisKA’s mission of strengthening community bonds and creating meaningful spaces for Malayalee families across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

As you may be aware, Remesan Cherichal passed away on August 15th at Southmead hospital due to a sudden stroke followed by cardiac arrest. In memory of him, a wake will be hosted on Saturday 31st August at Westerleigh Crematorium BS37 8QP followed by the funeral service, from 11:30am to 12:30pm. A fundraiser has been set up to help raise money for his children (Drupad, 19 years and Kashyap, 17 years), our goal is £25,000 and we must come together as a community to help them, and in honour of our beloved Remesan Cherichal.
